The Dublin city coroner has expressed concern that a lot of young people are dying from cocaine and lignocaine use. Dr Brian Farrell made his comments at the inquest into the death of a young woman who died of multiple drug use last Christmas Day.

Natasha Brady (29), St Mary’s Mansions, Dublin 1, was found at her home by the Dublin Fire Brigade after a call-out on Christmas night. A postmortem found she died from the combined toxic effects of cocaine, lignocaine, morphine and methadone.
