Gardaí investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in Cork yesterday are not treating her death as suspicious.

Gardaí investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in Cork yesterday are not treating her death as suspicious.

The woman’s body was found at a house on New Road, Gardiners Hill, Cork yesterday evening.

The woman, who was in her 80s, had lived alone.

Following a postmortem today, a Garda spokesman said it appears the woman died of natural causes.
