A man from the Cork city area who fell and broke his leg while climbing in the Comeragh Mountains near Carrick on Suir, Co Tipperary, was airlifted by the Irish Marine Emergency Service Sikorsky helicopter for treatment at Waterford Regional Hospital. He was last night described as comfortable in hospital.
