A 32-year-old man arrested over the suspicious death of another man in Cork has been released from custody.

A 32-year-old man arrested over the suspicious death of another man in Cork has been released from custody.

The body of a 42-year-old was found at a house in Masseystown, Macroom, at 10am on Thursday.

The suspect was detained on Thursday night and held at Bandon Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Meanwhile, a post-mortem examination has been carried out on the man’s body, but gardai said the results are not being released for operational reasons.
