A man in his 50s died after being reportedly stabbed in his Co Cork home early this morning.
Mr John Heelam from Berkeley Court, Cloyne, Co Court died after the incident just before 3 o'clock and was removed to Cork University Hospital where he died of injuries.
A 38-year-old-man is being questioned by Midleton gardaí in connection with the incident.
