Cork man charged over murder of brother

A man (25) appeared at a special sitting of Cork District Court last night charged with the fatal stabbing of his brother.

A man (25) appeared at a special sitting of Cork District Court last night charged with the fatal stabbing of his brother.

Peter Lynch (27), a father of one from of Upper John Street, died at Cork University Hospital yesterday after being stabbed during a row at his family home at Fairfield Square in Farranree, Cork.

Patrick Lynch was last night charged with his murder.

He was remanded in custody to appear before the same court later today.
