Gardaí are seeking the public's help to find Cathal Brennan (26) from Rochestown, Cork city.
Mr Brennan was was last seen on Friday 21st July 2006 at Cork University Hospital at 1.38 am.
He is described as being five foot, six inches in height; of stocky build; with short fair hair. He wears gold-rimmed glasses, and his right arm is in a plaster cast.
Gardaí have asked anyone with information to ring the Bishopstown, Cork, station on 021- 4541012.
