Cork court order against husband

A Cork woman told the District Court yesterday that she wanted her husband to stay away from her

A Cork woman told the District Court yesterday that she wanted her husband to stay away from her. Mr Stuart Bailey, of Lagan Grove, The Glen, Cork, was charged with contravening a protection order on August 7th and with conduct likely to lead to a breach of the peace.

Ms Jean Bailey said that her husband had struck her on the neck. She was burying her brother this weekend and did not want any more trouble.

Mr Bailey was remanded in custody with consent to bail by Judge Terence Finn, who ordered him to stay away from the family home.
