A Dublin man was driving round in a stolen car a day after getting a prison sentence, Swords District Court heard yesterday. Trevor Ashmore (17), of Dunsink Road, Finglas, pleaded guilty to taking a car and doing £250 worth of damage to it at Swords on June 4th - one day after he had been given an 11-month sentence. Since then, he had been given a 20-month sentence. Judge Sean Delap said his sentence had to be consecutive and added four months to the 20 months. He also disqualified Ashmore from driving for seven years.
