Other countries are doing it - therefore, so must we? The only other country must be the UK, because having driven around 20 of the 27 EU countries, I have never, ever had to pay for air for my tyres. - AM, Belgium

Surely, if all the main players (Dunnes, Tesco, Superquinn and SuperValu) are charging the same prices, there is something that the Competition Authority should be looking at? Prices are about 15-20 per cent lower in Tesco in Northern Ireland. It is called collusion! - Peter Buchanan
