Consultants to aid Garda review

THE Department of the Taoiseach announced yesterday that Deloitte & Touche Management Consultants have been appointed to assist the Steering Group on the Review of the Garda Siochna. The Deloitte & Touche team will be led by the company's chairman, Mr John Pittock. The Government appointed steering group is to make recommendations for changes likely to enhance the efficiency of the Garda.
