Connemara Bog Week, due to take place next weekend in Letterfrack, Co Galway, has been cancelled.
Mr Leo Hallisey, organiser of the annual festival, said it had been cancelled as a mark of respect to the families of two young men from the area who were killed in a road accident last week.
