The Connacht Tribune Group has purchased local radio station Galway Bay FM.

The Connacht Tribune Group has purchased local radio station Galway Bay FM.

The deal, estimated to be worth approximately €20 million, will see the group bring its shareholding in Galway Bay FM from 27 per cent to 100 per cent.

The Connacht Tribune Group has held a shareholding in Western Community Broadcasting Services Ltd - the operating company running the radio station - since it started.
