Comreg, the The Commission for Communications Regulation, announced today that it had recently taken action against illegal broadcasters in Co Monaghan.
On 11th May the commission confiscated radio equipment which was being used by unlicensed radio broadcasters who were specifically targetting Northern Ireland.
Comreg worked with OfCom, the UK broadcaster regulator and competition authority, to apprehend the illegal broadcasters.
