Bogota - Marxist rebels unleashed a wave of attacks on Monday night in a "show of strength" just before the new Colombian president takes office, leaving at least 40 people dead and scores wounded, authorities said. Guerrillas wrecked oil installations, attacked the country's main port city, blasted a major anti-narcotics base and blocked highways.
