Bogota - An earthquake hit Colombia's central coffee-growing region early yesterday, causing panic as it jolted people out of their sleep but there were no apparent injuries or serious damage. The National Seismological Institute said the quake, the second in less than 12 hours, registered 6.5 on the Richter scale.
