Cocaine worth €350,000 seized in Waterford

A man has been arrested following the seizure of 3.5kg of cocaine at Waterford Regional Airport.

A man has been arrested following the seizure of 3.5kg of cocaine at Waterford Regional Airport.

The seizure was made on Saturday after Customs Officers searched the luggage of a man due to fly to Luton.

The man was subsequently arrested and is currently being held at Tramore Garda station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act

The total value of the seizure is estimated to be €350,000.
