A man is in custody this afternoon following the seizure of a firearm, ammunition and cocaine during a Garda raid of a house in Co Meath.
Officers from Blanchardstown, Cabra and Finglas in Dublin were involved in the operation at the house in Ratoath.
The cocaine seized has an estimated value of some €35,000.
A 25-year-old man is being held for questioning at Blanchardstown Garda station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act.
