A four-bedroom house owned by the Dublin housebuilder Mr Peter Cosgrave at Sydney Avenue, Blackrock, was sold yesterday at a Lisney auction for £660,000. The price underlines the continuing boom in Dublin house prices.
The Regency house was bought by Mr Cosgrave in 1988 for £100,000. It has since been refurbished. The house stands on one-third of an acre of gardens.
