A young Co Down woman wept yesterday as she was convicted and jailed for life for helping to brutally murder a homeless man who was left to die, semi-naked and robbed of his last 70p.

Lindsay White (23) said she was framed for the killing by a former co-accused already serving life for the killing.

Newry Crown Court jury dismissed her claims that she tried to stop Adrian Gregory Cunningham (20) from jumping on Marek Mateusz Muszynski (40), “like a trampoline”.
