`Funkyailte, groovyailte, happenailte' is the twisted linguistic description of An Taobh Tuathail, the cult music show on Radio Na Gaeltachta. Presented by Cian O Ciobhain (right) and Ronan Mac Aodha Bhui seven nights a week on 92-94 FM, the show is a melting pot of musical styles and it's Connemara shepherds who are tuning in nightly to hear fab new 45s from Third Eye Foundation, Mogwai and Godspeed You Black Emperor. Now, the hippest radio show as Gaeilge comes to Dublin's Temple Bar Music Centre tomorrow night, for a night out that'll make those Gaeltacht discos of your youth seem like a tea-party. Ronan and Cian will present the show live from the RnaG roadcaster between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m., after which they'll bring the tigh down with some rare grooves and urlarshakin' beats. O Ciobhain also runs the successful 110th Street club in Galway - I'll see you there tonight.
