Following Richie Hawtin's recent appearance in Dublin, the Bugged Out! crew are piling the pressure on with a visit from techno titan, Luke Slater (right). Club Mono in Wexford Street is the venue, and next Friday is the date, so get ready for another fine assault on the senses.

Slater bases his formidable reputation on 1997's Free Funk album and 1999's Wireless. Slater's sound is firmly rooted in electro-breaks, but sometimes leaps in unexpected directions, from shimmering ambience to shuddering techno. His partner-on-decks for this Dublin date is Rob Bright, who promises "accessible demented tunes with basslines".
