LONDON - Princess Diana's ambitions to become a roving ambassador for Britain could be thwarted by her expensive taste in clothes.

Senior Foreign Office officials are reportedly blocking her plans because of a stg£80,000 bill she presented to them after an official Gulf tour 10 years ago, according to the Times.
