A Clonmel man has been remanded in custody on a charge of murdering a man in the town last month

A Clonmel man has been remanded in custody on a charge of murdering a man in the town last month. Mr Paul Fitzgerald (27), an unemployed father of two of Garrymore, Clonmel, appeared before a special sitting of Carrick-onSuir District Court yesterday, charged with murdering Mr Francis Daniels, in his early 40s.

He was remanded to Clonmel District Court next Tuesday.
