In Cork Circuit Court, Mr Bertie Pierce, Hogan's Road, Kinsale, was found not guilty yesterday of unlawfully killing Mr Ger Fehilly (18), who died on September 14th, 1995.
Mr Pierce admitted hitting Mr Fehilly, from Ballinhassig, but said he did so to defend his brother, Liam. Mr Fehilly hit his head on the pavement or against a wall.
