Manchester City manager Kevin Keegan has been fined £8,500 pounds for insulting referee Steve Dunn after his side's Premier League defeat at Newcastle United last month.

The Football Association ruled on Friday that the former England striker had been found guilty of "abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour."

Keegan's tirade came after City lost 4-3 on October 24th. He was furious over several decisions immediately after the match but later said he would apologise to Dunn for his language.
