ANKARA Turkey's conservatives moved closer yesterday to forming a coalition after the caretaker Prime Minister, Ms Tansu Ciller, offered to share the post with a rival party leader.

"I offered Mr Yilmaz a rotating premiership," Ms filler said at a joint news conference, after coalition talks with Motherland Party (ANAP) head, Mr Mesut Yilmaz.
