Ciller denies meeting suspects

Ankara - The former Turkish prime minister, Ms Tansu Ciller, yesterday denied ever having contact with men convicted of swindling tens of thousands of dollars from a slush fund then under her control. "I have not had contact with the suspects through any channel or in any place," Anatolian news agency quoted Ms Ciller as saying in a written statement to an Ankara court.
