The standing committee of the General Synod of the Church of Ireland yesterday expressed its support for all constitutional political representatives in their efforts to reach a political way forward for all the people of Ireland. It expressed sympathy with the family of Det Garda Jerry McCabe and with his injured colleague, Det Garda Ben O'Sullivan, and to those injured in the Manchester bombing.
