The leader of the Christian Solidarity Party, Dr Gerard Casey, is to stand for the Dail in the Dublin West constituency in the next election. He was selected at a convention in Lucan yesterday where he said the time had come to shatter "the cosy consensus of Dail politics".
The former Fine Gael deputy, Ms Alice Glenn, endorsed Dr Casey as "an eminent and able candidate for political life".
