SAN DIEGO - Three Chinese warships sailed into port yesterday in the first ever visit of naval vessels from the People's Republic of China to the US mainland.
But the visit whipping up a controversy over a plan to lease a defunct US naval base in Long Beach to a state owned Chinese shipping company.
