Beijing - Four Chinese peasants convicted of murdering a German family of four in a frenzied knife attack during
a bungled robbery were sentenced to death yesterday, despite pleas for leniency from the victims' relatives. In China executions are usually carried out with a single bullet in the back of the neck.
