London - Five kidnap victims were released yesterday after a joint operation between Metropolitan police and their Chinese counterparts, a spokesman for the police said. The Chinese men were freed and over 50 suspects arrested in midnight raids on one address in west London, two in Kent and four in Essex, he said. Another suspect was arrested in China by local police.
All five were found in the capital and several were beaten.
