An explosion at a tea-house in southwestern China has killed 12 people and wounded two dozen others today, the official Xinhua news agency reported.
The afternoon blast, which tore through the building in Tongliang county in Chongqing municipality, killed nine people at the scene. Three more died en route to hospital, the agency said.
No other details were immediately available.
