China is on an emergency footing against SARS today after a woman died in a new outbreak of the virus.
The woman in China's eastern province of Anhui died on April 19th, the country's Health Ministry said today.
The woman's daughter, also in Anhui, was one of two people confirmed today of having the flu-like disease, the ministry said.
