Child drinking increases

London - Increasing numbers of children are being hospitalised each year for alcoholic poisoning, according to a Health Department survey published yesterday. According to the survey of children aged between 11 and 15, 5 per cent of boys and 3 percent of girls drink more than the equivalent of seven pints of beer a week.
