London - The wife of the British Prime Minister, Ms Cherie Blair, had to pay a £10 excess charge after failing to get a train ticket because a credit-card machine was not working. At Luton, her destination, she told an inspector she had made the trip without paying and she paid the £9.60 fare, plus the excess, with her credit card.
