This afternoon's race meeting at Chepstow has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
Clerk of the course Tim Long inspected the course at 7.30am but heavy overnight rain had left the already testing track unraceable.
"One rain gauge showed 12 millimetres overnight while another showed 13 and there is standing water on the track," said Long.
"It's beyond heavy so we have had to abandon."
