The Institute of Chemistry of Ireland has launched a book to mark the 75th anniversary of its foundation in 1922, as the Chemical Association of Ireland. A copy of the 240-page history, entitled The Chemical Association of Ireland 1922- 1936, written by Dr J. Philip Ryan, was presented yesterday to the Minister of State for Science Technology and Commerce, Mr Noel Treacy. The book is available from the institute.
