LONDON - Britain's Red Nose Day netted £11 million for Comic Relief after more than eight hours of television fundraising. Presenter Lenny Henry said £11,080,728 had been raised for the charity, which aims to help people in Africa and the UK. The announcement followed a day of fundraising culminating in a marathon television spectacular.
