Transition year students from Clongowes Wood College in Dublin will set out today on a "Duck Run" to raise money towards a £60,000 mobile cardiac monitor system for Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin.

The run starts at 10 a.m. from Crumlin hospital. Students will push an eight-foot papiermache duck around Dublin before returning to Clongowes. Tomorrow, the students begin a five-day trek to Limerick. Since 1993 they have collected more than £160,000 for Childline and the hospital.
