A public appeal to provide 2,000 toys for children in Dublin was introduced yesterday by Junior Chamber (East Region). Many children have never had a new toy for Christmas, according to the Chamber.
Members of local Junior Chamber chapters will invite Christmas shoppers to buy a present. The gifts will be distributed through the St Vincent de Paul.
