Writer Cecelia Ahern has confirmed that she is expecting her first child.
Ahern (28) is the daughter of former taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Miriam Ahern, and the author of several best-selling novels. She is expecting her baby with partner David Keoghan in December. In a statement released following media queries, a spokeswoman said it was with great joy that the couple confirmed the news. Ahern’s seventh novel is due in October.
