Catholic taste?

Ian Paisley could be said to have catholic tastes when it comes to what newspapers he reads

Ian Paisley could be said to have catholic tastes when it comes to what newspapers he reads. In this week's My Media column in the Guardian, he said he reads all the usual papers that people read - "the Guardian, Times, Independent and of course Telegraph". He added, "I get, strange to relate, Roman Catholic weeklies, the Universe, the Herald and the Irish Catholic delivered to my house. I always say the boy who delivers them thinks I'm a secret Catholic. I wouldn't read anything gratuitous, unclean or blasphemous." He continually reads the Bible, getting through it two or three times every year, and he finds Western movies very relaxing.

Notice no Dublin papers except the Irish Catholic. Could it be a case of know thine enemy.
