Gardai are appealing for witnesses after three raiders escaped with a small amount of cash from the National Irish Bank premises at Wilton Terrace, Dublin, yesterday.

The three men entered the bank shortly after 3 p.m. and while one of them stood at the door armed with a handgun, the others jumped the counter and demanded cash. A Garda spokesman said the three made their getaway in a stolen car which was found abandoned at an apartment block nearby.
