FIANNA FAIL chief whip, Mr Dermot Ahern, was allowed some tolerance at Dunshaughlin Court yesterday when a motoring summons against him was adjourned to July 1st.

Mr Ahern of The Crescent, Blackrock, Dundalk, was summonsed for driving without due consideration for other road users at Killegland, Ashbourne, on November 21st last.

Judge John Brophy adjourned the case to July 1st and said he hoped Mr Ahern would have finished his present business by then and be available to come to court.
