LONDON - Brown rot, which destroys potato crops and devastates agricultural land, has been stopped from infecting Britain from Holland, the deputy Agriculture Minister, Mr Tim Boswell, said in the House of Commons yesterday.
He said a consignment of Dutch seed potatoes for a farm; in Cornwall had been found to affected by the disease.
