A young Dublin man was killed when the car he was driving struck a pillar at the junction of Clonsilla Road and Porterstown Road at 5.40 a.m. yesterday. He was Ronan Lawless (19), of Huntstown Rise, Mulhuddart. A passenger in the car suffered serious injuries and is being treated in Beaumont Hospital.
