A car collided with a Luas tram this evening at the junction between the Davitt Road and the Naas Road, which is close to the Blackhorse stop on the red line at Inchicore, Dublin.
The incident was reported to emergency services at about 7.20pm and a number fire brigade units and gardaí attended the scene.
The driver of the car was taken to St James’s hospital where his injuries are described as not life-threatening.
The Luas is not running between Red Cow and Blackhorse as a result.
