Gardaí in Co Cavan have seized more than 1,000 cannabis plants valued at up to €520,000.
The plants were discovered during a search at a vacant property on Church Street in Cootehill yesterday afternoon.
A total of 1,300 plants were being cultivated in the house which has been sealed off pending a forensic examination.
No arrests have been made in connection with the haul.
